The chiropractor with an infectious smile is a fitting description for Dr. Robert Shire, who has been with Midtown Integrative Health & Wellness since 2005. One of his online reviews sums up his presence well, “He makes you feel like family the first time you meet him.”
Dr. Shire, who loves playing soccer, bass guitar with his band and spending time with his family, is known for helping people get out of and stay out of pain. He sees his role as a partner for his patients to achieve optimal health.
“I was drawn to chiropractic because of its ability to help the body heal without drugs or surgery. It’s completely natural and can work wonders for people’s overall health,” says Dr. Shire, who graduated cum laude from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. “The more I learned about this discipline the more I was certain that I could use it to help a lot of people overcome a wide range of health problems.”
He also specializes in helping people lose weight. He addresses not only diet, but also the emotional barriers that may be inhibiting their weight-loss goals.
Dr. Shire is the regional executive director for Take Shape For Life, an organization dedicated to helping people attain a good life by achieving their weight-loss goals. The group also fosters positive outcomes for a healthy body and mind as well as sound financial health.
“I very much believe that finding peace with oneself is a foundation for healthy living,” says Dr. Shire, who is a certified health coach. “I can help you towards your road to health, but your own commitment to it is essential. My hope is that I can inspire you to commit to self care.”
