Acupuncture in NYC at Midtown Integrative Health and Wellness

Restoring your body’s balance is one of the principles at Midtown Integrative Health & Wellness. Acupuncture is an ancient healing art that can aid in restoring balance. An acupuncture treatment is the insertion of extremely thin stainless steel needles into precise points on the body. The combination of points are prescribed based on the pattern of imbalance determined by the practitioner.

We’ve had success using acupuncture to treat a range of ailments, including migraines, allergies, depression, acid reflux, high blood pressure, insomnia, lower-back pain, immune system deficiencies as well as aiding in weight loss and easing menopausal symptoms.

Ben Fleisher

Ben Fleisher, LAc, CZB, became fascinated with the mind-body connection as a teenager when he stumbled upon “The Way of Action” on his parents' bookshelf. The Buddhist teaching opened his eyes to meditation and yoga and then motivated a full immersion in Buddhist studies, which took him around the world and back. In 2002, Ben launched his career in health and wellness with massage therapy before expanding into acupuncture. To create the most effective treatments for his clients, he integrates Japanese, Chinese, and trigger point methods of acupuncture as well as Zero Balancing, a specialized form of acupressure that balances how energy moves in the bones of the body. Ben holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, an undergraduate degree from Hampshire College, a massage therapy certification from Boulder College of Massage Therapy, and is certified as a Zero Balancer by the Zero Balancing Health Association. When Ben isn’t practicing, he engages the New York City health community with Body Local, a networking organization committed to helping fitness and wellness professionals and enthusiasts achieve business and personal success.
